Creative Photography

Upon request, and if aligned with the production brief, I create images using creative photographic techniques such as light painting, double exposures, or optical filters.

The approach is tailored to each project, balancing creative direction, production needs and delivery requirements. These solutions may be created in-camera, through optical interventions, post-production processes, or a combination of different techniques. The choice of method is never the goal itself; it is simply the most appropriate tool for translating a concept into photographs.

The images below were created for Electropark, an electronic music festival based in Genoa with which I have a long-standing collaboration. During the years, rather than applying a fixed style, different photographic approaches were developed in response to the themes and visual identity of each edition. While documentary coverage remained an essential part of the assignment, these images were conceived to become part of the festival’s visual communication, creating photographs that not only document the event but also reflect its atmosphere, identity and creative direction.

Intagram

Electropark 2023 — Hipernatural

Exploring movement, physical presence and the immersive atmosphere of club culture through long exposures, fill-in flash and controlled motion blur. Details of what we usually don’t look at: the sweat, the dirt, the fragmented perception of time and light and the intense awareness of bodies sharing the same space.

Electropark 2024 – Resonances

Using various light-painting techniques, light was introduced as an active visual element. The resulting trails extend beyond the subjects, creating connections between performers, audiences and spaces, and suggesting the movement of energy through the festival.

Electropark 2025 – Shared Brilliance

Using optical filters mounted directly on the camera, subjects were multiplied, fragmented and merged within the same frame to emphasise the collective nature of the festival experience, where identities overlap, and individual perspectives become part of something larger
